First and foremost, I love what I do. No matter what realm of the design world a project evolves from, be it print or web or something else, be it complex or simple, I relish the opportunity.
There's just something about the process that keeps me pushing on. The goal is to lend this spark on to the viewer, to make them think or make them laugh, to help them or perhaps challenge them. It demands craftsmanship, but also plays mind games and keeps one wide awake late through the night. This is a good thing, not like being kept unrested by a bad dream. No, the design process offers an adrenal response to the evolving search for creative breakthroughs.
I design for the same reason that I travel, read, listen to music or take a long hike. To see the world in new perspectives is an invaluable gift, and I hope to always keep reaching to a fresh angle.
